This adapter enhances the interface capabilities of Garmin panel-mount LNAV GPS receivers, allowing them to integrate with other avionics systems. It supports various serial data protocols like King, RS-422, and ARINC 429, enabling communication with different types of equipment such as distance indicators, digital course selectors, and EFIS systems.
